'Ohana Nainoa

ALOHA!

Welcome to our 'ohana website, dedicated to the ancestors and descendants of

Lyons Baldwin Nainoa.

Lyons Baldwin Nainoa was born on January 13, 1842, in Waimea, when the islands were still part of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. He was the son of Kumuhonua Auwae, who was 31 years old at the time of Lyons’ birth, and Kapulani Poʻohina, who was 29. Their lives and legacy form the roots of the 'ohana that continues to grow today.

This website exists to honor that legacy and to bring together the many descendants of Lyons Baldwin Nainoa. As our 'ohana has grown across generations, locations, and cultures, it has become more important than ever to have a place where we can reconnect with one another and preserve our shared history.

Here, ohana members can:

  • Learn about our ancestors and genealogy

  • Share 'ohana stories, photos, and memories

  • Discover our cultural and historical roots

  • Stay informed about family gatherings, news, and events

  • Connect with relatives across generations

Our hope is that this space will help strengthen the bonds within our ʻohana and ensure that the stories of those who came before us continue to be remembered and shared.

Our past connects us, and our stories keep that connection strong.
